Scheduling Polls (Doodle-Style)

Find the best meeting time by letting participants indicate their availability.

What are Schedule Polls?

Schedule polls (also called DateTime polls) work like Doodle. You propose date/time options, and participants respond with Yes, No, or Maybe for each option. The results show which times work best for everyone.

Creating a Schedule Poll

  1. Click "Create Poll" and choose "Schedule Poll"
  2. Enter your event name and description
  3. Add date/time options using the calendar picker
  4. Review and create your poll
  5. Share the link with your group

Date/Time Option Types

Specific Time

A date with start time and duration. Example: "Mon Jan 15 at 2:00 PM"

Full Day

An entire day without specific times. Example: "Friday Jan 19 (All Day)"

Date Range

Multiple consecutive days. Example: "Jan 20-22 (3 days)"

Timezone Handling

We automatically detect each user's timezone. When you create a poll, times are saved in your local timezone. Participants see times converted to their own timezone, so everyone is on the same page.

Participants can toggle between viewing times in the poll's original timezone or their own timezone.

Response Options

Response Meaning
Yes Available / This time works
Maybe Possibly available / Not ideal but could work
No Not available / Can't make this time

Finalizing & Calendar Export

Once everyone has responded:

  1. Go to the Results page
  2. Review which times have the most "Yes" responses
  3. Click "Close Poll & Finalize" and select the winning time
  4. Everyone can download an ICS file to add the event to their calendar
Tip

Include 3-5 date/time options to give people enough choices without overwhelming them.
